Support Earth Hour 2011

Earth Hour 2011 is a global event organized by WWF -World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund, and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth Hour started four years ago in Sydney with 2.2 million participants.

At 8:30pm on Saturday 26 March 2011, businesses and households around the world will be
turning off their lights in support of the World Wildhas grown to be one of the largest environmental campaigns in history, with 128 countries now involved. This year's event will focus on what you can do to reduce energy consumption beyond the hour.
Registering your business for Earth Hour is easy and doesn't have to stop at turning your lights off for 60 minutes. Hosting your own event and getting your staff involved can be a great way of showing corporate social responsibility.
